Gong Bath Yin Yoga

We are excited to bring Sound Healing to our beloved yoga community!! Check it out. Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of modern yoga with the aim to increase circulation in the joints and improve flexibility. The yin sequence will primarily focus on the hips but has many added postures to release the shoulders and neck. Poses can be held as long as five minutes or as short as one minute.
The vibration of a gong is a powerful method for reducing stress. Known as a gong bath, the gong creates an ocean sound that activates the parasympathetic nervous system to balance the over-taxed sympathetic nervous system. The sound and vibration energy of gongs is an ancient and powerful tool used to help still the mind and allow the body to deeply relax.
A Gong Bath combined with yin yoga is a deeply relaxing, meditative experience which can take you on a journey of deep relaxation, healing, and self-discovery.
