Continue a week of intensive learning from breath expert, Robin Rothenberg as she shares salient details about breath retraining based on her new book, Restoring Prana: A Therapeutic Guide to Pranayama and Healing Through the Breath. To be released Dec. 19, 2019!
Cultivating a rich reservoir of prana is the essential goal of yoga practice, and pranayama (breath control) the primary tool to actualize it. It is the containment of prana that enables our vitality to thrive, our mind to be clear, and our health to be robust. To this end, we need to train ourselves to need less breath — not more. In this immersion, Robin will progressively build your understanding through powerpoint presentations, physical practices, and hearty discussions of why breathing less is the best medicine you can provide for yourself and your students going into the winter flu season. All breathing bodies welcome!!
